DAY 1: ARRIVAL HANOI (-)

DAY 2:HANOI - FULL DAY CITY (B/L/-)

Begin your Story of Hanoi with a visit to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. Here, you will hear about the man who led Vietnam’s campaign for independence from French colonial rule. Next, visit the imperial citadel, the apex of regional political power for more than a millennium where research and excavation is still underway. After a Vietnamese lunch, head to another 11th century relic, the Temple of Literature, which was built as an homage to the Chinese scholar Confucius. You will then see the iconic Long Bien Bridge. Constructed across Red River between 1899 and 1902, when Vietnam was still ruled by the French, it is now jammed with whizzing motorbikes and an occasional passenger train chugging into nearby Long Bien Station.

The tour continues with a 30-minute cyclo tour through Hanoi’s bustling Old Quarter, a place where Hanoians buy everything from noodles to light fixtures to Buddha statues. The quarter’s 36 streets were named for the products that were sold from their shops. Today, vendors on Tin and Bamboo Streets still sell the same wares. After exploring the old quarter’s shady alleyways, sip a strong Vietnamese coffee in a café overlooking Hoan Kiem Lake – an important symbol in Vietnamese folklore. Snap a photograph of the downtown skyline before returning to your hotel at around 4.30pm.

DAY 3:HANOI – BAI TU LONG (B/L/D)

Depart from Hanoi and drive about four hours to the port of Halong Bay. Take a small tender boat to meet your private junk which will be anchored just offshore. After a short safety briefing set sail to the outer reaches of Bai Tu Long Bay, passing by the stunning limestone karsts jutting out of the jewel like waters. Later this afternoon, take a kayak for a paddle to get an up-close look at the jungle clad karsts.

DAY 4:BAI TU LONG (B/L/D)

Cruise to Cong Dam to learn about the unique geology of Bai Tu Long bay before kayaking around the hidden lagoons and geological park in Cong Dam. Enjoy a BBQ lunch on the beach before cruising around Cong Do area and Thien Canh Son cave.

In the evening cruise back to Cap La and enjoy dinner and overnight on board.

DAY 5:BAI TU LONG – HANOI – HUE (B/L/-)

Take a traditional rowboat to the floating fishing village of Vung Vieng. Watch as the people go about daily lives shaped by the ageless rhythms of the sea. Enjoy your last glimpses of Halong Bay over an early lunch as you cruise back to the port. While returning to Hanoi, stop at Yen Duc Village to see a traditional water puppet performance, an ancient art form of the Red River Delta. Afterwards continue to Hanoi, arriving in the late in the afternoon then transfer to the airport for flight to Hue.

Upon your arrival in Hue, transfer you to the hotel for check-in.

DAY 6: HUE – FULL DAY CITY (B/L/-)

Hue was the Vietnamese capital during the Nguyen Dynasty 1802-1945 and ruins of the city’s regal past can still be seen inside the Citadel and the Imperial City. Created in the 19th century, the Imperial City was modeled on the Forbidden City in Beijing and holds many palaces and temples inside its giant walls. Many of the buildings have been damaged by war over the years and are now being restored to their former glory.

Spend some time wandering through the citadel before taking a short journey into the surrounding countryside to see the final resting place of the Emperors at two of the most impressive Royal Tombs and take a boat trip along the Perfume River, visit Thien Mu Pagoda.

DAY 7: HUE - HOI AN (B/-/-)

Today drive south to Hoi An over the scenic Hai Van Pass probably the most scenic stretch of coastal road in Vietnam!

Free at your leisure till begin your tour of Hoi An, a former trading port that welcomed Chinese, Dutch, French, Japanese, Portuguese and Arab merchants between the 16th to 18th centuries. Today Hoi An is famous for its restored architecture, homemade silk, expert tailors and delicious noodles and seafood. Its relaxed vibe and pedestrian streets make this town a pleasure to walk around and discover new things.

The tour includes stops at several famous landmarks. The first is Chua Ong Pagoda, dating back to 1653 and built in honor of the Chinese general Quan Cong, who is worshipped by many as a symbol of loyalty and justice.

Next, pop into Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, to see the Jinshang Temple which is dedicated to the goddess of the sea and the protector of sailors. From there it’s a short walk to Tan Ky House, a 200 year old ancestral house and finally, stroll across the often photographed 17th century covered bridge built by Japanese craftsmen. The beautifully built bridge doubles as a temple and is a major landmark of Hoi An. End your afternoon with a boat trip along Thu Bon river.

DAY 10:HOI AN - SAIGON (B/-/D)

Your guide will meet you at your hotel and driven to the city’s Central Post Office, which was designed by the renowned French architect Gustav Eiffel.

Next, stroll toward the Saigon River along Dong Khoi Street, which figured prominently in Graham Greene’s famous Vietnam novel, The Quiet American, to the Saigon Opera House, a commanding building completed in 1901. Shelled during World War II, it was used to shelter French citizens fleeing North Vietnam in 1954, the year Vietnam earned its independence from France.

The tour continues with a stop at the Reunification Palace, where a North Vietnamese tank crashed through the gates in 1975 to end a war that killed an estimated 58,000 Americans and three million Vietnamese. You will also visit the War Remnants Museum, where Vietnam’s government has assembled presentations – some of them graphic – of wartime hardships and atrocities.

Continue by private speedboat as you depart at sunset from Saigon to the waterside oasis of the Deck Restaurant only 7km from the city centre. Nestled on the banks of the Saigon River, the Deck Restaurant offers an intimate dining experience. This renowned restaurant serves Asian fusion style delicacies that will tantalise your taste buds. Relax and unwind in the candlelit ambience and enjoy a set menu dinner, before boarding your speedboat at approximately 9pm to return to the city.

DAY 11: SAIGON – MEKONG DELTA CAI BE PRINCESS (B/L/-)

Depart from your hotel at 8am and drive to the township of Cai Be to board the Cai Be Princess, a traditional riverboat made from native bamboo, wood and rattan. During Vietnam’s French colonial period, boats like this were an essential means of transport in a swampy areas and poor roads. And even today, they are a handy means of reaching the delta’s isolated river communities.

Meet at the Cai Be jetty at 10am, your crew welcomes you with cold towels and a refreshing drink while your Cai Be Princess sampan sets off for its leisurely cruise on the busy waterways. On the river, boat traffic is endless and the activity never ceases. Observe from the comfort of your sampan life as it plays out on the riverbanks – the people, the stunning landscapes – while your attentive crew serves you tea and seasonal fruit. Visit an ancient house built in the 19th century. We’ll make stops along the way to provide glimpses of local cottage industries: coconut candy and puffed rice (the local equivalent of popcorn), products that provide a living for the river people.

Your cruise ends at Le Longanier Restaurant. Lunch is served in this exquisite colonial-style villa set in a lush tropical garden by the river, surrounded by fruit trees, giving you a sense of life during Indochinese times.

After lunch, at around 2.30 pm, take a short walk along a small canal, towards the Ba Bon Bridge where your personal vehicle awaits to drive you to Saigon.

DAY 12:SAIGON – SIEM REAP (B/-/D)

This afternoon, begin travel to the ancient site of Roluos group of temples a short drive from Siem Reap. This small collection of monuments was the centre of Khmer civilization known as Hariharalya and served as a capital city to four successive kings over a period of more than 70 years. Lolei the island temple was built in the middle of a reservoir and consists of four brick towers and a few lintel carvings that remain in good condition. Preah Ko or the sacred bull temple is named after the statues of bulls in front of the central towers and Bakong, is the largest and most impressive in the group dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva.

In the evening, enjoy dinner with Apsara Show.

DAY 13: SIEM REAP - FULL DAY TEMPLES (B/L/-)

Start with a visit to the South Gate of Angkor Thom where statues of the gods of good and evil line the entrance. Your next stop is the Bayon, known for the hundreds of smiling faces that grace the towers. The bas reliefs are quite impressive and tell stories of daily life and the great battles that were fought between the Khmers and ancient Thais. Move on to Phimeanakas, shaped a bit like a pyramid with two ponds in the rear. The ponds were once used for religious rituals but today serve as swimming pools for Khmer kids. Walk to the top of the temple for impressive views of the Angkor complex.

See the rows of trunks that form the wall of the Terrace of the Elephants, a platform from which King Jayavarman surveyed his army. Close by is the Terrace of Leper Kings, which includes a statue depicting Yana, the Hindu god of death. Then it’s a short drive to one of the most loved temples of all – Ta Prohm. This small crumbling temple is held together by giant tree roots giving it a magical feel.

Return to Siem Reap for lunch and to escape the hot sun. Then later in the afternoon explore the magnificent Angkor Wat, the world’s largest religious monument. This visually spectacular temple is a massive three-tiered pyramid, rising 65 metres from the ground and crowned by five lotus towers. It’s the national symbol of Cambodia and proudly appears on the country’s flag. End your day with sunset views over the jungle from the top of Pre Rup Temple before returning to Siem Reap.

DAY 14: SIEM REAP – HALF DAY TONLE SAP (B/-/-)

Drive to the edge of the Tonle Sap Lake and embark on a cruise to Kompong Phluk, an isolated Khmer community of three villages built on wooden stilts, rising from six to eight metres high. The community has about 3,000 inhabitants who farm fish and vegetables on floating platforms.

During your visit, your boat will take you through mangrove forests, a unique ecosystem that survives on flooded soil for months. Mangroves are also hosts for a variety of wild-life, keep an eye out for birds and especially the crab-eating macaques!

1.Do I need to arrange the Visa to Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia?

– Cambodia Visa

You can get a Cambodia visa stamp upon arrival without pre-arrangements. You only need to pay a USD$25 fee (this fee maybe differ depending on the nationality of passport holder) and 2 pictures for each traveler. You can then expect about 15 minutes for processing at the airport.

– Laos Visa

You can get a Laos visa stamp upon arrival without pre-arrangements. You only need to pay a USD$25 fee (this fee maybe differ depending on the nationality of passport holder) and 2 pictures for each traveler. You can then expect about 15 minutes for processing at the airport.

– Vietnam Visa

Unlike Cambodia or Laos, before entry into Vietnam, you must have a Vietnam visa stamp or a Vietnam visa on arrival pre-approved letter. A tourist visa for Vietnam can be obtained from any Vietnam embassy or consulate office worldwide. This visa is valid for 30 days and can be extended through our head office in Vietnam.

– Special Notes

Please make sure that you have your passport, that your passport is still valid for six months and contains two white pages. Upon receiving the pre-approved visa, we will send it to you right away. Kindly print it out and show it when needed. Upon arrival at Vietnam’s airport, expect to fill out a simple form. Kindly prepare two photos, USD$ 25 for stamp fees per person for single entry Visa, USD$50 for multiple entry visa and expect a 15 minutes wait time.

2.How far ahead I can book?

You can book as far as 24 months in advance, but please ensure you remember you have made the reservation. We will charge USD$100 non-refundable deposit and require full payment 30 days before departure. You can expect to receive the invoice as a reminder well in advance of your trip.

3.How is the latest time that I can make the reservation?

We can only guarantee bookings made at least 5- working days (not including weekend) before the departure date.

4.How long will I get your first proposal?

Upon receiving your request, you will receive the first acknowledgement to reassure you that we are giving your request immediate attention. Rest assured that your request is always our top priority. The full detailed proposal will be in your inbox no later than 24 hours or within 48 hours in the case of public holidays or special events.

5.How do I reserve my trip with you?

Just complete and send the reservation form making sure that you have given us your e-mail address and a valid credit card number. As soon as we receive your request we will contact your chosen hotel to confirm the reservation. It is our policy to reply to all requests within 24 hours. Please read our terms and conditions before making payment.

6.How do I process the booking with you?

In order to confirm your booking, you are kindly requested to deposit 20% of the total cost. After you have made the transfer, please send us a copy of bank receipt to follow with our bank. When the remittent reach our account, we will start to lock in services. The normal process for the remittent to reach our account is about 2 to 3 working days.
